I started my business in 2017 when hustle culture, never offering anything for free, fiercely protecting your time (aka shutting out opportunities) and maximum pricing regardless of experience were trendy pieces of advice. Fast forward over 7 years and I have a few things to say about what advice makes sense for the brand new business owner and what we gain from reducing whose voice has access to us and our business.
