Children at Memorial Healths Dwaine and Cynthia Willett Children’s Hospital in Savannah get to participate in a unique birthday celebration for Americas 250th anniversary. They painted stars, stripes, and flowers on large cubes, which will be displayed as part of a massive public art project at the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool. This is the only hospital in Georgia selected for this project, which has gathered contributions from kids across the country for three thousand three hundred art units. The project aims to bring together contributions from kids everywhere into a massive floating canvas, showcasing their artwork for the first time at the National Mall.
