Show Notes

Savannahs Live Oak Public Library system is constructing a state-of-the-art branch, valued at $11.5 million, to replace the outdated Oglethorpe Mall Library. The new library, designed by local architects GMSHAY, will be built on county-owned land and is expected to better serve the community as it grows. Funding comes from local, state, and federal sources, with U.S. Senator Jon Ossoff contributing $3 million. Residents will have opportunities to provide input on the design. Stay tuned for updates on this exciting project.
