Beaufort County deputies have arrested Marktazius Jovan Smalls Junior, 23, from St. Helena Island, in connection with a deadly shooting in Burton, South Carolina. The shooting, which occurred on October 23, 2024, resulted in the deaths of two 18-year-old males. Smalls faces charges of arson, accessory after the fact, and possession of a stolen vehicle.
