Growing up, there was bound to be a Barry Crump book peeking out of the bookshelves of Kiwi families or in your local school’s English curriculum.
Crump sold millions of his semi-autographical novels and was a stalwart of New Zealand writing.
But he was also a difficult person with a complicated home life – a father to six boys from four different mothers.
For the first time, the brothers have all gone on record together to tell the story of their dad in their book Sons of a Good Keen Man, which has just been released.
One of the brothers Martin Crump Joined Saturday Mornings with Jack Tame to discuss the book.
