This week it was my pleasure to interview Erik Hersman of Gridless. He and his co-workers are building bitcoin mining centers in remote parts of Africa working in conjunction with other companies to supply cheap renewable energy (hydropower) to villagers. In August the BRICS nations (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa) are meeting. This trading partnership has at least two items on the agenda -- supposedly forty-one countries are looking to join the BRICS league. One of this weeks news items is that the bitcoin wallets holding less than one bitcoin ("shrimps") are actually stacking more sats than the entire output of Bitcoin Miners. That is terrific news!!!!
