We are always trying to please and make other feel loved and wanted, but we never focus on us. As I matured, and I keep getting older, I realized that the value I give myself was based on what others thought of me. If I was chosen, passed over, accepted, or laughed at. I adopted the labels other people put on me. That is why I tried so hard to belong and be accepted.
