Treat Yourself Shoulder Release in Sitting

Send me a text! What did you think of class? Episode 67: Today’s class is a mini Feldenkrais® Awareness Through Movement lesson that you will do sitting in a chair. No other props will be needed, so please take a moment to find a stable chair with a flat sitting surface. Many of us are spending a much longer time in front of screens. And this creates more load and restriction around our shoulders and leads to unease and tension in the shoulders and the neck. We will use our own hands and a soft attention as a way to help relax these commonly tense areas. This podcast is an intersection of my yoga teaching and my training in the Feldenkrais® method. Sarah Baumert has been teaching movement since 2006. She is a certified yoga teacher, yoga therapist and Feldenkrais practitioner.
