Last night, journalist Glenn Greenwald broke the news that the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission will require “online streaming services that offer podcasts” to register with the government and submit to regulation.
Not only is this an infringement on the rights of Canadian citizens, but it is extremely similar to the trucker protest crackdown Sara witnessed last year. Government oppression always starts small but unfortunately doesn't stay that way.
