Show Notes
The National Museum of Nuclear Science and History in Albuquerque has added a Bell four twelve HP helicopter to its permanent collection, donated by the U.S. Department of Energys Nuclear Emergency Support Team. This twin-engine aircraft, which spent thirty years in service, played a crucial role in responding to nuclear and radiological threats. It will now serve as a symbol of modern civil service efforts, bridging the gap from Cold War artifacts to todays technology. The helicopter is currently on display in the museums Heritage Park, with plans to secure it in its final spot for visitors to see.
