Music Matters Live Drive returns this Friday, collecting used instruments for kids through Young Musicians Initiative and New Mexico Philharmonic. Drop-off locations: Robertson and Sons Violin Shop in Albuquerque and Nusenda Credit Union in Santa Fe. Last year, over 800 instruments were donated, with 300 now in the hands of young players. Music builds essential skills in kids, and cash donations are also welcome to cover repairs and lessons.
