Show Notes
Santa Fes first Housing for All Fair is a free event on Saturday, aiming to help renters become homeowners. The fair, starting at 9 a.m. at the Santa Fe Friends Meeting House, connects attendees with nonprofits, government groups, and lenders. Two info panels with experts from Housing New Mexico, Santa Fe Habitat for Humanity, and Homewise will be held at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m., moderated by U.S. Representative Teresa Leger Fernández. Attendees receive breakfast or lunch, door prizes, and a chance to ask questions. Real estate pros like Stephanie Duran, a former single mom, support the fair to build stability and wealth for others. Joshua Maes, chair of the Realtors housing committee, expects a large turnout and plans to make the fair twice a year, forming new partnerships for bigger initiatives. Registration is easy on the Santa Fe Association of Realtors website, but walk-ins are welcome.
