Albuquerques $62M Road Expansion Project: Unser Boulevard & Paseo del Norte to Ease Traffic
The city of Albuquerque has initiated a major road expansion project on Unser Boulevard and Paseo del Norte, costing $62M, to alleviate traffic congestion for West Side drivers. The first phase includes widening roads to four lanes, adding medians, lighting, multiuse trails, bike lanes, and improved intersections and storm drains. The project, which began in 2018, will span from Paradise to Paseo del Norte on Unser and from Calle Norteña to beyond Unser on Paseo.
