Washington City, Utah, unveils Washington Wheels Park, a colossal 65,000 sq. ft. skatepark and 65,000 sq. ft. BMX facility, ranking as the fourth-largest skatepark and second-largest combined skate and BMX spot in the U.S. After six years of development and thirteen months of construction, the $10 million project, funded by bonds and land donated by a local developer, officially opened this past Saturday. Local skater Christian Jacobs, known for Yo Gabba Gabba and The Aquabats, shared his nostalgic experience, feeling like a teen again. The park is set to host big events like The Aquabats show at the St. George Arts Festival next month.
