The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints unveils new Charlotte, North Carolina Temple site in Mint Hill, Mecklenburg County. This marks the second operating temple in the state, with the first one in Raleigh. The new location, just 15 miles northeast of the old one, will serve the growing community, reducing travel for members from the Columbia, South Carolina Temple.
