Show Notes
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints announces significant changes to Sunday meeting schedules, effective September 6th. Most classes, including Sunday School, Relief Society, elders quorum, Young Women, and Aaronic Priesthood quorums, will be reduced to 25 minutes each week. Primary remains at 55 minutes, and sacrament meeting stays at 60 minutes. Wards can adjust the order, starting with Primary and shorter classes before sacrament. The changes aim to provide more time for personal study and application of gospel teachings. Youth programs receive a new curriculum, focusing on building lifelong disciples, mission readiness, temple prep, and family centering. Relief Society and elders quorum will continue to emphasize recent general conference messages, keeping Sundays purposeful and rejuvenating.
