Ep 373DMs FIX the Gaps Created by Well-Meaning Internet Marketers with Sean Malone
It was probably seven or eight years ago that I met Sean Malone, and he eventually became one of those people who inspired me on my journey. Sean got into sales in pursuit of this most frequently asked question–how to make a boatload of money? Like most of us, he started as a terrible salesman, booking zero appointments out of 2,400 calls. But that didn’t make him quit sales. He learned sales systems to master his craft, and lo and behold, he became one of the greatest sales geniuses I’ve met in my entire life. Interestingly, after hearing how Sean has been crushing business after business with his sales system, I realized that marketing is only measured in lead gen. I’m not saying there’s no advantage to publishing a video that gets tons of likes, but sometimes that’s just the awareness part. It’s important to remember to build a SALES company rather than a MARKETING company. After all, you’re here to sell. So, here’s how DMs can help you make the transition. (Also, if you haven’t yet, get your ticket at OfferLaunch.com and learn from experts like Sean how to (re)launch lucrative offers that make 6-7 figures.) Key Takeaways: Intro (00:00) Meet Sean Malone (02:36) The birth of FlowChat (14:18) How to utilize DMs for stronger launch (17:26) What makes FlowChat different (23:38) The truth about social media (24:24) What internet marketers and funnel builders don’t know (27:23) DM is the online hallway (30:32) Additional Resources - Reserve Your Seat at the OfferLaunch 2023 event here - Connect with me here - Interview me on your show --- Download Season 1 episodes here -- Sales Funnels Radio is a podcast for all passionate digital marketing pros looking to up their game and stay ahead. Ep 372New Paid Ads Method Brad Langan Is Using To Scale Sales Funnels
I’ve worked with many different ad agencies, but this one stood out to me. Meet Brad Langan, a personal trainer turned media-buying expert and marketing agency owner. Instead of looking at paid traffic just by getting people to click a page, he understands the value of bringing that traffic to the page and looking at it as one “continued whole”. It is such a unique thing! If you think about it, the shift is quite simple but essential for cheaper conversions. That’s what made Brad and his agency one of the top paid ad agencies in the industry. And so, I can hardly wait for him to share all about it at the upcoming OfferLaunch event. For now, here’s a sneak peek at how they’ve changed the paid ad and sales funnel landscapes. Key Takeaways: Intro (00:00) Meet Brad Langan and his works (01:41) How Brad got into the media buying space (05:26) Traffic and launching mistakes that funnel people make (09:59) Brad’s comprehensive marketing strategy (13:59) The value of warming people up (19:23) Final thoughts (22:11) Additional Resources - Reserve Your Seat at the OfferLaunch 2023 event here - Connect with me here - Interview me on your show --- Download Season 1 episodes here -- Sales Funnels Radio is a podcast for all passionate digital marketing pros looking to up their game and stay ahead. Ep 371Big Business Valuation Mistakes Internet Marketers Create with Raleigh Williams
Come to think of it… I have made 55 products in three years, many of which have been taken down. I didn’t see the real value they bring when it comes to business valuation. Then came Raleigh Williams, a mergers and acquisitions lawyer turned business owner and now my business partner. Raleigh started as a mergers and acquisitions lawyer–working at a big law firm in New York and then later in Texas. When he saw how these big companies earn millions (and even billions) of dollars through acquiring businesses or selling divisions of their companies, he got into building his own business. He went from earning $2M a year in profit from his family entertainment business to selling the entire business for $26M. Then Raleigh made me realize the biggest mistakes that internet marketers like me create. Let us share them with you in detail and hopefully enlighten you. Key Takeaways: Intro (00:00) Meet Raleigh Williams (02:03) Why you should have a business exit strategy plan (07:18) Two main mistakes that marketers make (10:22) The key man risk concept explained (12:49) Advantage of digital marketers compared to the usual M&A deal (14:45) Business ownership vs. entrepreneurship (17:32) Episode wrap-up (19:51) Additional Resources - Reserve Your Seat at the OfferLaunch 2023 event here - Connect with me here - Interview me on your show --- Download Season 1 episodes here -- Sales Funnels Radio is a podcast for all passionate digital marketing pros looking to up their game and stay ahead. Ep 370How to Become Entrepreneurially Self-Reliant
It was probably two years ago while I was at a Funnel Hacking Live… That I had one of the most meaningful epiphanies of my life as an entrepreneur. I was woken up in the middle of the night and was inspired to create a Medical Underground Railroad. Honestly, I don’t know what it is. All I know is that I want to be one of those entrepreneurs who helped create solutions even for something they do not have specialties in. This project allows me to give back and make an impact. And so I talked to my coach (yes, I have business and personal coaches, too), and that’s where I came to know these powerful immortal words from Aristotle: "Nature abhors a void.” It means that nature will always fill any empty spaces. So if you’re frustrated that you don’t have the clarity yet to some of your biggest business ideas, don’t fret. There’s beauty in asking questions even without immediate answers. Lemme tell you how you can apply this principle in real life and in marketing. Key Takeaways: Intro (00:00) My trip to Africa (00:52) The pros and cons of capitalism (02:07) The “nature-abhors-a-void” concept (04:54) An example of “nature-abhors-a-void” (09:55) Comparing different business models (13:21) How to be an idea pioneer (18:32) What is it to be entrepreneurially self-reliant? (20:52) The power of asking questions (25:44) Additional Resources - Connect with me here - Interview me on your show - Join the OfferLaunch 2023 event here --- Download Season 1 episodes here -- Sales Funnels Radio is a podcast for all passionate digital marketing pros looking to up their game and stay ahead. Ep 369The 5-Year-Old in the Ferrari
It's not the first time I've had this type of insight. But it resurfaced after years while I was filming a video about how unique the offer launch is. And that's what spurred the thought. I realized that there is a benefit to being an innovator. Sure, there are things to be blue, new, and prolific with. However, there are also certain things that it's best to model what has worked. One of the biggest frustrating aspects I have in teaching my frameworks to others is that "some" people would do differently from what the framework says. And they'd come up to me and say... "Steve, your framework doesn't work." Yeah? No way! Well, it feels like I'm handing a Ferrari to a five-year-old who can't reach the pedals yet. Lemme tell you more about what I mean by this... Key Takeaways: Intro (00:00) There's a certain playroom within the framework (01:37) What is the Red Ocean Analytics? (04:27) Two main reasons why people take reckless risks (05:48) Why you should copy the category king (07:15) The story behind the Ferrari framework (10:48) You got to learn to reach the pedals (12:44) Closing thoughts (14:53) Additional Resources - Connect with me here - Interview me on your show - Join the OfferLaunch 2023 event here --- Download Season 1 episodes here -- Sales Funnels Radio is a podcast for all passionate digital marketing pros looking to up their game and stay ahead. Ep 368Why You Should Survey Your Customers
Here I was, sitting and thinking about the very first successful sales funnel I made for another company. And it got me asking what made it so successful compared to my previous attempts. Obviously, I had good copies on my sales funnels, good sales videos, etc. But I think the answer is really simple… Survey your customers! As customers come and go, I surveyed my customers to fully understand what they need. It might seem like a leap, but it does benefit you in the long run. Find out how. Key Takeaways: Intro (00:00) Why you should survey your customers (00:55) Other benefits of surveying your customers (02:28) One of the biggest things my audience has requested (04:27) Scaling a business model (05:20) What have I been up to lately? Ep 367So, Will Sales Funnel Radio Continue?
“If you're still doing the same thing in 20 years, I'm gonna kill you.” Although those weren't his original words (he got them from the movie The Good Will Hunting), my business coach of three years, Brian, made me think hard about what I really wanted to do. For the past few years, it has always been funnel, funnel, and funnel. Hence, the birth of Sales Funnel Radio. But now, I'm already entertaining the thought and feeling of "Where do I go next?". ‘Coz, no matter how much I'm invested in funnel land, I know it won't be where I will build my kingdom. No doubt... I'm honored to have produced over 350 episodes for this amazing Sales Funnel space. But here's my vision of the future of this show though... Key Takeaways: Intro (00:00) Saying yes too much isn’t a blessing (01:11) A lesson from The Good Will Hunting (04:19) Where can I build my next castle? (08:25) Owning the thought leader in me (10:39) Surround yourself with this kind of people (13:34) My future plans (14:29) Is this the end of Sales Funnel Radio? Ep 366The #1 Thing That Will Guarantee Client Failure
I have been speaking on stage for years. And one of the most triggering things someone can ask me while I'm on stage is... "Steve, this is really powerful. But will it work for me?" Man, when I hear that, I just want to flip a desk because I already know that person will fail. I understand your good intentions; you want to help your customers solve their problems. You've put your blood and sweat into your course materials so you can share the formula that has worked for you and others. But while you're here to solve a valuable problem for your customer, they'll never get the result they're paying for if you don't do this one thing. Let me tell you more about it.... Key Takeaways: Intro (00:00) The sad post-learning pattern (01:22) Modeling somebody vs. carving your own path (04:52) Simplicity always wins (06:30) One of my biggest pet peeves (08:36) The power of having a can-do attitude (10:41) You are your own hero (12:33) Funnel Hacking Live freebies (13:55) Overcoming self-doubt and taking extreme ownership (14:37) Complaining is not bad (19:20) How to deal with haters (20:17) Additional Resources - Connect with me here - Interview me on your show --- Download Season 1 episodes here -- Sales Funnels Radio is a podcast for all passionate digital marketing pros looking to up their game and stay ahead. S365 Ep 99How to Get Yourself Interviewed by Others
I remember my first few interviews. Man, those weren't the best of me. But if it weren't for those interviews and my consistency in putting myself out there, I wouldn't be considered an expert in what I do now. It cemented me in this industry which eventually led to bigger opportunities. Yet, most people often overlook this marketing strategy. Getting yourself interviewed is actually one of the most powerful and SIMPLEST forms of marketing. Why? 'Coz it never leaves the internet. And if you know how to tie your answers into whatever you're promoting, you'll have leads for LIFE! Being interviewed is one of the key pieces of the publishing game, and it comes with some prerequisites. So here's how I started getting myself interviewed... Key Takeaways: Intro (00:00) My I’m-not-gonna-publish backstory (01:28) Why publishing is so important (05:24) How to get interviewed by others (10:05) Interview request sample (13:54) #1 rule when interviewing me (14:30) Two ways to pitch yourself for interviews (15:59) The danger with a purely interview-based show (16:57) Handy interview tips (20:29) Closing thoughts (24:14) Additional Resources - Connect with me here - Interview me on your show --- Download Season 1 episodes here -- Sales Funnels Radio is a podcast for all passionate digital marketing pros looking to up their game and stay ahead. Ep 364Creating My Linchpin-Style Event Funnel
I love the Linchpin model. In fact, I have changed everything in my business to it. And yours truly even got to write the foreword on Russell Brunson's upcoming book about the said business model. But I haven't seen anyone turn their event funnel into this Linchpin model yet. So while I was on an airplane to Miami, with some caffeine and dubstep, I had another epiphany that blew my mind. I created a fantastic new event funnel type using the Linchpin model! And I can't wait to share it with you. Here's how it goes… Key Takeaways: The new Linchpin model (01:25) How to do a Linchpin-style event funnel (02:21) My plans for Offer Launch and Offer Mind (07:51) The reason why I've slowed down (10:17) Blackout speaking explained (11:38) The future of Sales Funnel Radio (12:34) Additional Resources - Connect with me here - Interview me on your show --- Download Season 1 episodes here -- Sales Funnels Radio is a podcast for all passionate digital marketing pros looking to up their game and stay ahead. Ep 363The Best Funnel For FULFILLMENT
When it comes to funnels, most marketers would think of it as purely for customer acquisition. But here's one of my biggest realizations for the past year: You can utilize funnels in so many ways! And the first thing you have to do is do what the market leader is doing. That's it. It's just ridiculous not to copy how leaders acquire customers. Come to think of it. When you straight out clone the content king, you also limit the number of variables you're risking. And customer acquisition is something you should not gamble on in the first place. From there, you can use the same customer acquisition funnel to make an EPIC funnel for onboarding and fulfillment. And in today's episode, I will describe in detail what I mean about this. Key Takeaways: Origin stories are not just for people (01:31) The best strategy for customer acquisition (03:59) Just do what the market leaders are doing (05:34) The truth about FREE challenges (09:11) My biggest realization about funnels and fulfillment (13:34) Episode wrap-up (15:02) Additional Resources - Connect with me here - Interview me on your show --- Download Season 1 episodes here -- Sales Funnels Radio is a podcast for all passionate digital marketing pros looking to up their game and stay ahead. Ep 362When To Sell Your Own Social Media Channels
Funnel builders and internet marketers know the power of creating content. We're wired to build, build, and build. And most of the time, marketers develop more sellable assets than the offer they're pushing. But most content creators don't know how to really use what they've built. That's what I realized after my friend and business partner, Raleigh Williams, and I bought MediaAcquire. MediaAcquire is an online marketplace to buy and sell media assets. In this episode, Raleigh and I talk about how marketers can monetize all the media sawdust they've created along the way and when to actually sell their social media channels. Key Takeaways: The power of creating content (00:29) What is MediaAcquire? (05:13) Most content creators don't know how to monetize their platforms (05:59) On building products vs. building distributions (10:53) A message to new entrepreneurs (14:38) What to look for in something sellable or valuable? Ep 361How We're Using Sales Funnels In Business Acquisitions
In this week's episode of Sales Funnel Radio, I have finally invited my business partner, Raleigh Williams, to talk about our latest mergers and acquisitions deal. Raleigh started as an M&A lawyer in New York and in Dallas - working for private equity firms, public companies, and big firms. Overseeing purchases and sales agreements for like $20 billion dollars plus deals, and getting paid a number that is way much smaller than what he deserved, made him realize to walk away from his lucrative job. He has gone on doing his own business acquisitions. And now, we're combining his M&A knowledge and my sales funnel expertise to value and acquire businesses and help them optimize through marketing. Join us in this special episode as we talk about how we're using sales funnel in business acquisitions, the criteria we're looking for in an M&A, and our business plans. Key Takeaways From small business consulting to mergers & acquisitions (01:02) Meet Raleigh Williams (01:47) Turning passion business into a sellable asset (04:02) Traditional M&As vs. funnel-driven M&As (08:50) When you buy out a business built around a person (11:27) The numbers behind our latest business acquisition (14:59) Misconception on M&As (20:35) What to look for in a business when doing an M&A (22:05) How we plan to keep this business going (24:33) Additional Resources - Connect with me here - Interview me on your show - Check out our latest business venture here - Connect with Raleigh Williams here --- Download Season 1 episodes here -- Sales Funnels Radio is a podcast for all passionate digital marketing pros looking to up their game and stay ahead.Advertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brands
Ep 99How I Know What My To-Do List is Each Day
I was at this event, and during the Q&A section, this gentleman in front said something that really threw me. And he said something like this, "I want to make these moves, but I want to make sure that I do the right moves." First of all, it's a super common train of thought, especially for entrepreneurs. But it was the way this gentleman said it that made me realize that he wasn't taking action fast enough and was instead hyper-obsessing over every single move as if life depended on itself. He didn't know that being an entrepreneur means nobody is giving you a to-do list. You have to create something with the resources that are there. And how do you know that you're making the right move? You don't. But you get better at not making the bad moves as you go. So here's how I plan my to-do list as an entrepreneur to ensure I eventually get to where I want to be and get better at avoiding bad moves. Key Takeaways Taking a day to think through what I want to be done in a year or three years (02:43) Understanding that I am an entrepreneur (03:28) How do you know if you're making the right moves? (04:34) The heroes' two journeys (05:19) Entrepreneurship is not about perfection as taught in schools (06:21) Improving your skills by putting in the reps (07:06) Learn under someone else's wing (16:02) Additional Resources - Connect with me here - Interview me on your show --- Download Season 1 episodes here -- Sales Funnels Radio is a podcast for all passionate digital marketing pros looking to up their game and stay ahead.Advertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brands
Ep 99Still Solving the “Obscurity” Problem 6, 7, 8, and 9 Figures Later...
You could have the most incredible product or offer, but if no one knows you - you don’t have a list - that's a big issue. Whether you are a small or large business, we all dream of having that big list, of solving that big obscurity problem. I know because I still get the same question, “How are we going to fill in the funnel?” even from big companies. I remember looking at the industry leaders and saying, "Man, if I just had their list, all my problems would go away.". But boy, I was utterly wrong. Yes, having a larger list helps. But if you can't do it with the smallest list, how would you know how to do it with a big list? How would you pull the money out of your audience? So if you're not where you want to be, look at it as putting in the reps or the "mat time", and it's what most of us know as practicing the fundamentals. And once you've put in the reps, you'll eventually face the same problems, use the same process, but just better at solving them. Key Takeaways - Same process, same problems, but just better at solving (00:30) - False belief: when you're big, the obscurity problem is solved (02:00) - What you're doing now is putting in the "mat time" (07:08) - Be grateful for the path you're on right now (08:28) - Just rinse, and repeat (09:52) Additional Resources - Connect with me here - Interview me on your show --- Download Season 1 episodes here -- Sales Funnels Radio is a podcast for all passionate digital marketing pros looking to up their game and stay ahead.Advertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brands
Ep 99Getting Funnel Traffic Is A Matter Of Messaging...
When I first started, I kinda looked at internet traffic as this magic thing that only some could crack. I mystified it in my mind. But now, after millions in sales online, I'd say that traffic is 'solved' by messaging. Bad messaging = sucky traffic and vice versa. Ads do not solve a traffic problem as many businesses tend to do. Ads are just an accelerant, but messaging is at the core of your marketing and traffic. If you need more traffic, you must figure out the messaging better. So the question is how you get your messaging right? By learning what your dream customers are searching for and standing in front of those searches. That's it…. it's that easy! Don't create something and then ask how you can get people to see it; you've already lost at that point. All you do is create what people are looking for already. Key Takeaways - The many ways to get traffic without ads (02:04) - Don't try to create traffic; stand in front of it (04:20) - The non-negotiable musts of every company we buy (05:50) - Why traffic is a messaging problem (07:51) - If you need more leads – improve your messaging (12:18) Additional Resources - Connect with me here - Interview me on your show --- Download Season 1 episodes here -- Sales Funnels Radio is a podcast for all passionate digital marketing pros looking to up their game and stay ahead.Advertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brands
Ep 99Distribution Channels Go On A Balance Sheet
Think of the most valuable assets a company creates. Of course, we think of the offer, the list, branding, etc. But as I've begun buying companies, if they don't have some kind of distribution channel that they've created, my interest in purchasing drops heavily. I'm looking at the distribution channels as much as I'm looking at the P&L and other financials. If the distribution channels are in place and big enough, I can use my 12-step offer and launch framework to flip the company around. If a company doesn't have established distribution channels, they better have freaking amazing financials for me to continue considering it. Here’s what I mean... Key Takeaways - Traffic is nothing more than a hook and messaging issue (02:38) - What distribution channels have you built? (06:16) - Sales are about traffic and eyeballs (10:31) - Think of ways to create sales-based marketing style noise (11:04) - It's not just the P&L (11:25) Additional Resources - Connect with me here - Interview me on your show --- Download Season 1 episodes here -- Sales Funnels Radio is a podcast for all passionate digital marketing pros looking to up their game and stay ahead.Advertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brands
Ep 99Using Funnels In Company Acquisitions
Funnels can be used to guide a user through many things. The obvious ones are leads and sales. The not-so-obvious is fulfillment and onboarding, but now I'm using them for company acquisitions. Here's what's happening… I've been asking myself what's in play for me in the next 5 years that I can get so focused on to delete 80% of everything else, which is a super hard thing to do, but I've done it anyways. We've just started buying partial or full companies at certain stages and fixing them up. And since season two of this show is dedicated to documenting my journey to 100 million, I think this new M&A vehicle will get me there faster. Tune in to hear what we are doing in this space. Key Takeaways - What we've been doing (00:29) - Why we got into mergers and acquisitions (03:05) - From a consultant to a business partner (06:46) - The vehicle to take me to $100 million (07:30) - Getting my drive back (10:14) - Taking my funnel background into M&A (13:10) Additional Resources - Work with Steve - Connect with me here - Interview me on your show --- Download Season 1 episodes here -- Sales Funnels Radio is a podcast for all passionate digital marketing pros looking to up their game and stay ahead.Advertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brands
Ep 99My Next Funnel Moves In The Results-Based Economy…
Removing your own time from the business is the simplest start to building a REAL business in the results-based economy. I like selling in the results-based economy and not the time-based economy. If time is how you measure value, you are still stuck in the lower-class economy. The results-based economy is a better life. Nobody cares how long it takes if you get the result they want. What does all this mean? It means creating a scalable offer and business that relies on systems and processes, not your time as the offer creator. You are not the offer! Here are the moves I'm making to jumpstart 2023 in the results-based economy… Key Takeaways - Are you stuck in the lower class economy (00:48) - Value is not measured in time but in results (02:30) - Selling in the results economy (04:34) - You are not a cog in the business machine (07:25) - How to craft your offer to deliver results (08:47) - What you can do to provide a better result (10:08) - Work for Steve (16:25) Additional Resources - Work with Steve - Connect with me here - Interview me on your show --- Download Season 1 episodes here -- Sales Funnels Radio is a podcast for all passionate digital marketing pros looking to up their game and stay ahead.Advertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brands
Ep 99Help Wanted: Funnels and Marketing…
I'm hiring and would love to go to all of you first. You'll work on my projects, my clients, and the companies I'm buying. I'm looking for someone with experience in funnel building, but that will not be the main thing. You'll also do a lot of project management, social media stuff, and everything else I do. This paid position will also help you gain marketing and funnel experience, which you can use to do your own thing later. I don't expect you to remain with me forever, and I just ask for a minimum of 12 months. Tune in for more details about this role and how to apply if interested. Key Takeaways - Why I decided to become a funnel builder (00:47) - My real degree outside of school (02:50) - What I need you to help me with (04:43) - How to apply for this role (07:00) - Give me a solid 12 months; then you can leave (08:41) Additional Resources - Work with Steve - Connect with me here - Interview me on your show --- Download Season 1 episodes here -- Sales Funnels Radio is a podcast for all passionate digital marketing pros looking to up their game and stay ahead.Advertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brands
Ep 99Upgrade How You Say 'It' On Your Funnel…
What you say matters, of course, but so does HOW you say it, especially on a funnel page. The point of this episode is to show you simple ways to increase the effectiveness of what you're saying. Whenever I design a funnel, I try to make the copy more consumable through the layout and the page's design. The purpose of design is not to make a page look pretty but to make a SALE. The design's purpose is to make your copy more consumable. Design is all about HOW you are saying it. Copy is the expression of marketing, and if people do not read it, they will not buy. The design matters a lot, especially in this era of skimming through content. That's the real science and art that a true funnel builder brings to the table. Let's dive in… Key Takeaways - Funnel design concepts (00:48) - How to make your funnel copy more consumable (03:33) - Design is not being pretty; it's about sales (06:55) - One call to action per funnel (12:34) - Make your page more skimmable (15:31) Additional Resources - Connect with me here - Interview me on your show --- Download Season 1 episodes here -- Sales Funnels Radio is a podcast for all passionate digital marketing pros looking to up their game and stay ahead.Advertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brands
Ep 99Build The Funnel, Then The Business…
I was taught to build a business plan and borrow money to build it. Hopefully, the business you planned on paper made money. It's so much better and safer to do the exact opposite. Build a product and sell it. Then build the business. My point is that a sales funnel and a business are two completely different things. They are separate to build, and they accomplish different things. A sales funnel core function is to generate revenues, whereas a business is all about systems. One criterion for determining if you have a business is if you can step away from it for 3 months. Would it still run? Ep 99Kill Your Funnel Title And Use A Funnel Hook
Beyond basic funnel structure and offer tweaks, the MOST common mistake I see in funnels is copy. Many people just "title" their funnel instead of "hook" their funnel. This is a pattern I've noticed in funnel land and within broader business. Keep in mind that when you name things, offers, pages, funnels, etc., you are not trying to label them. You are trying to get your customers to get interested, excited, and read more. That's the difference between a title and a hook. A hook has an emotional charge behind it which makes them want more, and that's where they click and consume your sales message. In this episode, I explain the difference and my simple formula to make sure I'm not titling anything (yuck)... Key Takeaways - Is your messaging affecting your traffic (05:09) - Hook vs. Title (06:34) - Hooks make consumers interested in your message (08:41) - How to create a hook (10:16) - An example of writing a great hook (13:46) - Sales copy bridges the hook and your offer (16:42) Additional Resources - Get your Capitalist Pig Swag Here - Capitalist Pig Facebook Group - Interview me on your show - Connect with me here --- Download Season 1 episodes here -- Sales Funnels Radio is a podcast for all passionate digital marketing pros looking to up their game and stay ahead. Ep 99The 5 Sequences (almost) Every Funnel Needs…
There are really 5 different sequences involved in (almost) every funnel. These are CRITICAL to the conversion rate in things free or paid. These are the sequences that I think through any time I plan and build a funnel because, more often than not, you are not likely to have a problem with leads. Most people just don't know what to do with them. In our business, we noticed that we have no problem sending leads to someone's funnel, but we have to teach people how to deal with these leads to get a sale and a long-term relationship with the buyer. This is my purpose with this episode. These sequences will not only increase sales, but they actually tee up long-term relationships. They ascend your customers up the value ladder to your other offers. Let's dive in! Key Takeaways What are you doing with your leads? (00:00) How to increase your sales without being annoying (05:26) Leads make or break a business (06:35) Sequence #1 – The promo sequence (08:00) Sequence #2 – Follow up sequence (13:22) Sequence #3 – Seen but not purchased sequence (14:35) Sequence #4 – Consumption series (17:32) Sequence #5 – Ascension sequence (23:10) Additional Resources - Offers that Won - Get your Capitalist Pig Swag Here - Capitalist Pig Facebook Group - Interview me on your show - Connect with me here --- Download Season 1 episodes here -- Sales Funnels Radio is a podcast for all passionate digital marketing pros looking to up their game and stay ahead. Ep 99Funnels Are The Tip Of The Business Iceberg
Are you treating sales funnels as your company? If then you are doing it all wrong. Sales funnels are not companies; they are just very powerful ways to automate a sales message and an offer. They are the revenue engines of a company. A company, on the other hand, is so much more. So, what do you do after the funnel is up and working? You have to design and build the other parts of the company as well. In this episode, I take you through the 5 core functions of a business and how the sales funnel fits into them. Let's dive in! Key Takeaways - Designing fulfillment like a funnel (00:46) - Funnels are not companies (01:34) - What exactly is a sales funnel (04:50) - Treat your sales funnel like a salesperson (09:12) - The five core functions of a business (13:53) - Designing fulfillment models vs. funnel design (19:47) - Overdesign outbound communication (32:26) - Traffic is a messaging problem (34:06) Additional Resources - Get your Capitalist Pig Swag Here - Capitalist Pig Facebook Group - Interview me on your show - Connect with me here --- Download Season 1 episodes here -- Sales Funnels Radio is a podcast for all passionate digital marketing pros looking to up their game and stay ahead.Advertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brands
Ep 995 Ways To Remain A Low-Level Influencer
While preparing for this episode, I looked up “how to stay small” just for fun. One of the things that popped up was a hilarious article about staying small in terms of muscle mass. It was written using all the hyperbole examples of what you hear to get really jacked but saying the exact opposite. The point was to make fun of things we all hear as advice to get big. After 15 minutes of a good laugh, I thought it'd be funny to take the same angle with this episode. So I'm gonna teach you how to stay small through five easy steps. These are just five things I've just noticed that will: keep you small hold you back help you not reach your potential The point of this episode is to share this with you so that, inadvertently, you can figure out how other long-term, lifelong influencers relate with each other… Because it is not by smashing or bashing each other. Let's dive in (thick skin time)... Key Takeaways - Intro (00:00) - How to stay small (00:46) - Step #1 - Become less and less coachable (03:59) - Step #2 - Comparison city (which is really just jealousy) (07:44) - Step #3 - Assume intent behind facts (10:16) - Step #4 - Abandoning what you truly believe for the sake of acceptance (14:04) - Step #5 - Talk bad about other people (19:38) - 5 steps to stay small - summary (24:34) - 5 ways to grow (26:47) Additional Resources - Get your Capitalist Pig Swag Here - Capitalist Pig Facebook Group - Interview me on your show - Connect with me here --- Download Season 1 episodes here -- Sales Funnels Radio is a podcast for all passionate digital marketing pros looking to up their game and stay ahead.Advertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brands
Ep 99CASE: Larsen vs. Meeting
Most meetings are a colossal waste of time, effort, and the human genome. I'm not saying all meetings are bad. But I am saying that 80% of them are too long, absolutely ineffective, and have no point, if you will. And that’s usually because people come unprepared to those meetings. Google made popular five-minute meetings - they literally have meetings that last five minutes. And the reason they can do that is because of how much preparation is done prior to the meeting by all members who attended. That is an effective use of meeting time. Of course, it doesn’t mean that an effective meeting can’t be longer than that. For instance, we have 90-minute weekly meetings that are very effective. But what makes them effective is the preparation all of the team members do before they show up. But if you use meetings to brainstorm, that’s insanely wasteful. I know that there are people who need to talk out their thoughts, and that's fine. But I’m not that guy (as well as many others). So I have this kind of emotional checklist I'm going through before deciding if a meeting is needed. And today, I want to give you 4-5 parameters you can use to make your meetings more effective. I think that’s a pretty good reason to say, Hey, let's have this meeting! Key Takeaways - Intro (00:00) - A colossal waste of time (00:56) - 4 things you need to ask yourself before deciding to have a meeting (04:39) - Get into the meeting to get the outcome and then get out (12:45) - Bad meetings are far worse than not having one (15:56) - Good reasons to have a meeting (20:16) - Meetings don’t have to be a waste of time (24:40) Additional Resources - Get your Capitalist Pig Swag Here - Capitalist Pig Facebook Group - Interview me on your show - Connect with me here --- Download Season 1 episodes here -- Sales Funnels Radio is a podcast for all passionate digital marketing pros looking to up their game and stay ahead.Advertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brands
Ep 99To Be Liked, Or To Be Heard?
The classic battle of being liked or heard is a marketing clash that's as old as time. And I want to jump in today and teach you guys something interesting about it. First, I never considered myself a branding guy until 2020, when I was invited to speak for an event about branding. And I have to agree that branding is important. But one of the biggest mistakes I see in branding is that people want to be liked versus heard. If you haven't noticed lately, they tend to do more funny ads to push their offer and be liked. I'm not against making funny ads, but most marketers miss the point that you can both be funny while getting your message across to your audience. In their quest to chase the likes, they fail to realize that you can be liked but not heard. And that's what FAILED marketing looks like. In this episode, I talk about how to do marketing that gets liked and heard and what you should prioritize in your marketing. Key Takeaways - Branding always comes second (04:43) - One of the biggest mistakes I see in branding (10:10) - Being liked is failed marketing (13:52) - You can be both liked and heard (16:04) - Get your message out there and be heard (17:55) - What comes first before branding? Ep 99How Long Can It Take For The Pieces To Fit Together?
I know when I'm going through some breakthroughs. Most of the time, it is waking up in the wee hours and mulling over things. So, about a year ago, Russell and I talked about the kind of continuity he sees me doing. He pitched in about starting a newsletter where I could be teaching stuff. Surprisingly, it tied up with a course I made about three years ago. It wasn't selling big, but that's basically the framework that built my businesses. All of these good pieces have been sitting on my feet, but it was not until last night that it all clicked. I was finally able to fit the puzzle pieces all together. But revelations or breakthroughs like this are not like walking up to a light switch and turning it on. You often discover a detailed piece of your future offer on a random day. So, here are my thoughts about how to move through it. Key Takeaways - Solve the problems that are in front of you (03:09) - Going through big breakthroughs (5:02) - My conversation with Russell (06:01) - The biggest stumbling blocks for entrepreneurs (10:11) - How I figured out my funnel framework? (14:56) - How do the pieces fit together? Ep 99Lessons From Super Mario
I'm a big fan of Mark Rober. I think I've seen almost all of his YouTube videos. His Ted Talk popped into my head while I was walking around our neighborhood. It made me think about all the things we are all trying to do. One of the main keys to success is to keep trying again and again. It doesn't matter how many failures you go through; you just have to keep going back to the plate. You win half the game just by getting back up, stepping back to the plate, and trying again. Here's how lessons from Super Mario will help you step back up to the plate when you take a business loss. Key Takeaways - The Super Mario effect (02:54) - Trying again is half the game (05:44) - How to gamify what you're doing (06:10) - Learning how to learn (08:51) - Get back to the plate as fast as possible (11:21) - Solve valuable problems about your offer (13:40) Additional Resources - Get your Capitalist Pig Swag Here - Capitalist Pig Facebook Group - Interview me on your show - Connect with me here --- Download Season 1 episodes here -- Sales Funnels Radio is a podcast for all passionate digital marketing pros looking to up their game and stay ahead.Advertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brands
Ep 99Treating Your Sales Funnel Like A Salesperson
There's an interesting way to look at the relationship between the internet, marketing, and sales. We measure each very differently and have different expectations. During this year's Funnel Hacking Live, Russell and I got the chance to teach about sales funnels in a way that most people have probably not thought about but one that should accelerate the value you get back from your funnel. The whole notion of what we were trying to teach is that a sales funnel is nothing more than a salesperson, and the internet is just the lead machine. Here's how I think of a sales funnel as a sales PERSON and what I expect from both... Key Takeaways - What's really is a sales funnel (07:48) - You need to think of a funnel as a salesperson (09:04) - The internet is a lead machine, not a salesperson (10:51) - What is the relationship between marketing and sales? Ep 99The 3 Ways I Conquered Funnel-Nerves
Totally fine to be nervous, but what is it telling you? If funnel nerves tell you that you are not good enough yet, they’re probably right. Think about how you can close the gap by paying someone or getting the requisite skills. You might have built a good product, but that’s not the same as building a good funnel. The reason why you are nervous about building a funnel is most likely a skill set gap. The thing is, you don’t even have to be the one to fill this gap. You can hire a funnel builder, but you could also do it. In this episode, I share more about the 3 conscious methods I used to overcome funnel paralysis. Key Takeaways - Why the nerves show up (07:02) - Overcoming negative magical thinking anxiety (08:18) - Knowledge is power and liability (14:40) - My first dollar on the internet (17:18) - Hiring a funnel builder (18:30) - How I got good at building funnels (24:18) - What if everything works? Ep 99"Will I Ever Get Rich By Working For Someone Else?"
Great question from a friend yesterday. "Steve, will I ever get rich by working for someone else?" This is a fun one. Working for somebody else is not a negative…. Far from it. It's a powerful opportunity to gain skills, experience, and a network in your industry if you do it the right way. In addition, most people who work will make some decent amount of money as an employee over their career. But the velocity of cash matters just as much as the volume. But there's a big difference between an income and being rich and being wealthy. Wealth has a lot more time freedom to it. Tune in to this episode for my advice and reasons for this question. Key Takeaways - Will you ever get rich as an employee (05:20) - The velocity of cash matters just as much as the volume (08:18) - Working for somebody else is not a negative (09:48) - The difference between wealth and income (13:36) - The world's a small place and even smaller when you are an entrepreneur (17:57) - The Science of Getting Rich (23:10) - Pitch volume is the greatest way to control your income (32:40) Additional Resources - Get your Capitalist Pig Swag Here - Capitalist Pig Facebook Group - Interview me on your show - Connect with me here --- Download Season 1 episodes here -- Sales Funnels Radio is a podcast for all passionate digital marketing pros looking to up their game and stay ahead.Advertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brands
Ep 99How To Thrive In A Market WITHOUT Burning Bridges
Did you know... It's possible to "get big" without burning bridges? (sassy voice implied). But honestly, it blows me away how many B-Level Influencers commit the kiss of death to their relationships with A-Level influencers. The point of this episode is; when you're doing your marketing, don't slam another person, don't burn a bridge because you think another opportunity is there. You don't realize how much work it takes to build a new bridge. I really cannot overemphasize the importance of relationships and not burning bridges. Here's how I've navigated the political chess game in my market without ruffling feathers AND becoming an asset to the A Players… Key Takeaways - The importance of relationships (00:00) - Never burn bridges (08:20) - How every hero's journey starts (13:41) - How to play the long-term game (15:33) - Going through growth pains (20:16) - The formula for success (26:50) - What entrepreneurship is all about (31:46) Additional Resources - Interview me on your show - Connect with me here --- Download Season 1 episodes here -- Sales Funnels Radio is a podcast for all passionate digital marketing pros looking to up their game and stay ahead.Advertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brands
Ep 99Backstage: Preparing To Pitch
Jitters are normal. But, here's the kind of epiphanies I look for BEFORE pitching. Every time I pitch, I learn so much about teaching my subject better. I learn more ways to do it, and even though sometimes I'll add something I feel is missing from the script, it's mostly about subtraction. I add so much in the form of subtraction, and it just gets more and more simple every time I go do any kind of pitch or event. In fact, there have been many times when I've felt like an offer is stagnant or I'm not progressing as fast as I want. Pitching has been the thing that has solved it, not just from a money perspective but also from a mental birth perspective. Tune in for more benefits of consistent pitching Key Takeaways - Major benefits of pitching (01:49) - How pitching helps you progress (02:30) - Pitching over, over, over and over (04:28) - Simplicity for the audience (07:25) - How the marketplace guides you in what you need to do (09:58) - Competence equals confidence (12:46) Additional Resources - Content for leads challenge - Offers That Won Book --- Download Season 1 episodes here Advertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brands
Ep 99HOW The Marketplace Talks To You
This is the best kind of feedback you can get from your marketplace by actively listening to what the market is telling you. The market talks to you ALL the time. It tells you what to do, what objections they are having, what offers and funnel to put out there, what stories to tell, what hooks to use etc. If you think about it, there’s not much genius required in this game. It’s all about how well you can listen to the marketplace and launch. That’s part of the reason why I’ve never had a failing funnel. Wanna know how to listen to what the marketplace is telling you? Then listen to this episode to learn more. Key Takeaways - Content for leads challenge (02:15) - How to get organic stuff working (03:19) - How the market is talking to you (06:37) - You don’t have to always come up with good ideas (08:10) - The market tells you what they want (08:56) - Just launch, listen to the market, and do it again (13:36) Additional Resources - Content for leads challenge - Connect with me here --- Download Season 1 episodes here -- Sales Funnels Radio is a podcast for all passionate digital marketing pros looking to up their game and stay ahead.Advertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brands
Ep 99Preparing our Speech at FHL with Russell Brunson
Here are a few takeaways from the prep sessions Russell and I have been doing to get ready for our speech. Anytime I go out to make speeches, it's always on the basis of what already exists. I'm teaching my frameworks all over again. There's this really crazy superpower that teaching brings in understanding your own frameworks; you get to turn back around and have all these other epiphanies. And it'll be even clearer and clearer, and you'll teach simpler and simpler, and your framework becomes easier and easier for people to apply. And the easier it is for someone to apply it, the more the success rate is in the back, and then the more it gets sold. Tune in for more on how I approach speech writing and also wiring a book Key Takeaways - Envision your path down the road (01:19) - Epiphanies that you have while preparing a speech/book (02:38) - The crazy superpower that teaching brings (03:01) - Keep it all simple (04:04) - How I create every core framework (07:25) Additional Resources - Interview me on your show - Connect with me here --- Download Season 1 episodes here -- Sales Funnels Radio is a podcast for all passionate digital marketing pros looking to up their game and stay ahead.Advertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brands
Ep 99The 2 Post-Launch KPIs To Remove Yourself From Your Funnel…
Of all the busy-busy things you can get distracted with after your sales funnel is launched, and of all the things you can track, it's clear to me that there are only 2 things to track to get the greatest ROI (and they "release you" also)... I'm talking about automating a funnel post-launch right after the funnel is out of the door. This is so that you can remove yourself without killing the funnel. These 2 KPIs are from a marketing sense, and remember, I have previously said that marketing is measured in leads. If it didn't create a lead, it wasn't marketing. Tune in to learn what they are and how they shorten the distance to success. Key Takeaways - How to automate a funnel post-launch (00:57) - Treating fulfillment like a funnel (02:12) - Marketing is all about creating a lead (04:59) - The 2 KPIs that indicate the likelihood of success (07:08) - The shortest distance to success (10:40) - How to double the number of people coming to your funnel (16:23) - Content for leads challenge (20:50) Additional Resources - Content for leads challenge - Connect with me here --- Download Season 1 episodes here -- Sales Funnels Radio is a podcast for all passionate digital marketing pros looking to up their game and stay ahead. Ep 99(Part 2) Psychedelic Therapy - What I Learned From Personal Experience…
In part 2, Marley Jaxx and I share our journey with this powerful medicine. I strongly encourage that you listen to part 1 first if you haven't. Psychedelic therapy is a tool that has helped Marley, and I go through a lot of what has been happening in our lives. It has been life-changing for us right from when we stumbled on it. We use it in a therapeutic setting where it's carefully applied. The setting is very important, and we want to use it with a lot of care, consideration, and respect. From a therapeutic sense, it helps you deal with PTSD and trauma you have experienced in the past. Most of us have a hard time letting go of the past. Psychedelics work by being dissociative, which helps you objectively look at past traumas and learn how to deal with them. Let's dive in! Key Takeaways - Psychedelic therapy in a therapeutic setting (03:51) - Healing is part of the path, NOT the path (07:17) - MDMA therapy (09:43) - How psychedelics work so well as therapeutics (12:32) - What's your fuel source (14:57) - Letting go of answer truly (17:42) - MDMA for removing PTSD and trauma (20:50) Additional Resources - Interview me on your show - Connect with me here --- Download Season 1 episodes here -- Sales Funnels Radio is a podcast for all passionate digital marketing pros looking to up their game and stay ahead.Advertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brands
Ep 99(Part 1) Psychedelic Therapy - What I Learned From Personal Experience…
I wasn't intending to make this a full episode. This is a big subject, and I respect anyone who wants to skip it. It's been life-changing for me, so I wanted to share the backstory in part 1. If you listen to the first episode of season two, I talk about the parallel journey. These are the struggles entrepreneurs go through while building their businesses that people usually don't notice. That's why I'm trying to mix up topics this season to talk about some of these things. Recently we had an episode about cancer and nutrition and all the things we've learned with Marley Jaxx and her journey. Today I want to talk about mental health. This is a big topic among entrepreneurs, yet many people don't talk about it. Psychedelic therapy combined with meditation has been one of the most life-altering things for me. One of those things that speed up time to success and inner peace faster than anything I've ever done. Tune to part 1 of this conversation to hear the backstory and how everything went with this therapy. Key Takeaways - Psychedelic therapy (00:59) - The entrepreneurial mind games (03:40) - How trauma works in the brain (07:29) - Going through therapy (09:45) - How to create without anxiety (14:36) - Learning how to meditate to go with psychedelic therapy (21:08) - Self-care is not selfish (25:07) Additional Resources - Interview me on your show - Connect with me here --- Download Season 1 episodes here -- Sales Funnels Radio is a podcast for all passionate digital marketing pros looking to up their game and stay ahead. Ep 99Teaching My Kids Offer Creation From Scratch
I tell my kids what I do and try to get them to dream. I was surprised last week when they directly requested to learn how to make $10k/mon. So this is how I'm starting that journey with them and what I'm gonna have them do first… This is the same proven process I use on adults who ask me how to make money. It doesn't matter what you are selling; the process works every time. It's cool to teach my kids these things because no school will do that for them. Of course, it will be baby steps, and they must first tackle any false money beliefs they might have. Then they'll learn how to define their dream customer and figure out something cool to sell them using a script that makes them reach for their wallet. If you are starting out, this is the same process you have to follow. Also, you can teach your kids this formula. Tune in! Ep 99Marley's Cancer Story - Healing Physically, Emotionally, and Spiritually From Cancer
This is what happened in Marley Jaxx's cancer journey over the last 7 months. When I was a young kid, it seemed like cancer was something usually for those beyond age 60. Now it seems it's in our 30's. Go figure… Us curiously minded, and "pesky" looky-loo's didn't take what we were told at face value. What we've learned has been astounding. This episode is about the path Marley Jaxx has taken to tackle cancer outside of the doctor's office, and it worked. Ep 99Delegate And Elevate (not my phrase)
I recorded this while fishing in Alaska. I first learned about the mantra "delegate and elevate" from a business coach I have in a system called EOS. I'm a big fan of EOS. It's been the cleanest way for me to transfer my vision into the heads of others. And allows me to have a proper business that can run when I’m not there. As an entrepreneur, always keep in mind that you are not the business. You should let go and step and step away from the business to stress test it and see what breaks. This is the way to grow your business faster by exposing what’s not working and fixing it. Most of us hold our businesses back by clinging on. Get out of the way! Once you do this, you are able to be more strategic and visionary as the owner. Tune in to this episode to hear what you can do to step away from your business successfully. Key Takeaways - Are you chained to your business (00:58) - Getting a fresh perspective (08:01) - You might be holding your business back (08:19) - Hire well and get out of the way (14:58) Additional Resources Learn more about: Youtube Lead Machine Capitalist Pig NFT Buy Your First NFT --- Download Season 1 episodes here -- Sales Funnels Radio is a podcast for all passionate digital marketing pros looking to up their game and stay ahead.Advertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brands
Ep 99How To Stress Test (Offloading without Imploding)
I used to make it a habit to simply disappear briefly during the busiest times in the business. Not for long. The point was for me to see where the cracks appeared. I don't mean to have a lack of communication with the people in your team, but there's serious power in allowing your business to show you where it has fractures. A business cannot be said to be a business if it still demands your daily attention. In any case, this is not why you became an entrepreneur. Besides financial freedom, you also wanted time freedom. So stepping away from your business is a great tool to assess the health of your business. Additionally, it allows you to develop those other aspects of your life. Remember the parallel journey I talked about at the beginning of Season 2? Tune in to this episode to learn more about perspective and how to stress test. Key Takeaways - What happens when you solve the money problems in your life (03:35) - You don't have a business until it doesn't need you (07:50) - Business development together with personal development (10:00) - Hustle is a phase, not a lifestyle (11:54) - The importance of perspective (15:17) - Test the systems (21:10) - Take a break if you need one (24:27) Additional Resources Learn more about: Youtube Lead Machine Capitalist Pig NFT Buy Your First NFT --- Download Season 1 episodes here -- Sales Funnels Radio is a podcast for all passionate digital marketing pros looking to up their game and stay ahead. Ep 993 of the Most Overrated Marketing Tactics
Some strategies sell better than they work. They work better on paper than in practice, but people continue using them. These overrated tactics might be hemorrhaging your money with little in the way of results. I know because I have, at some point, I've wasted a lot of money on some of these strategies. Not that I did anything wrong, but they simply are not worth it. The one thing to remember is that marketing is all about leads. In this episode, I took the audio from one of my YouTube videos to share with you what I think isn't worth your time but still very popular. Let's dive in... Key Takeaways - Why omnipresence is overrated (01:45) - YouTube is still the king platform (03:01) - You don't have to automate all follow up (04:35) - A sales funnel is NOT a marketing funnel (07:47) Additional Resources Learn more about: Youtube Lead Machine Capitalist Pig NFT Buy Your First NFT --- Download Season 1 episodes here -- Sales Funnels Radio is a podcast for all passionate digital marketing pros looking to up their game and stay ahead.Advertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brands
Ep 99Clever Ways To Promote Your YouTube Channel
It's no secret. The "exodus" from Facebook has internet marketers storming the castle name "YouTube and TikTok." To be successful on these platforms, you need to take off your content creator hat and put on a marketer's hat. You need to promote your videos like a marketer… And as we talked about in the last episode, marketing is measured by the number of leads and sales, not views and subs. So... How do you grow the channel? Here are a few simple out-of-the-box but powerful ways to do just that. Let's dive in! Key Takeaways - Hope is a sucky marketing strategy (00:54) - Inbound promotion of your videos (01:35) - Outbound marketing to grow your channel (04:08) - Nurturing and promoting to your list (06:39) - The real asset of the Internet is a list (07:54) Additional Resources Learn more about: Youtube Lead Machine Capitalist Pig NFT Buy Your First NFT --- Download Season 1 episodes here -- Sales Funnels Radio is a podcast for all passionate digital marketing pros looking to up their game and stay ahead.Advertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brands
Ep 99How to Use YouTube to Drive Daily Hot Leads
Organic content is NOT "slower" or "lesser than" paid ads. But only if you create your organic content with a focus on lead-gen from the start. Otherwise, it's easy to fall into the "content for the sake of publishing" trap. Did your last YouTube video produce a lead or a sale? If it did not, then it wasn't marketing; it was just content publishing. Marketing is measured with leads and sales, not views, subscribers, or other vanity metrics. As a marketer, always keep this in mind. Most people never consider YouTube as a lead source, but I will reveal to you today that it's one of the biggest ways we get daily leads here at our company. In this episode, I show you exactly how we do it and the pitfalls to watch out for. Tune in! Key Takeaways - Marketing is leads and sales (01:02) - Ask for the lead (02:15) - Sell the hole, not the drill (04:03) - Seek leads out of YouTube (04:57 - YouTube videos are assets to overcome sale objections (08:14) - The YouTube pie is so big… (08:25) - Go where your customer is (10:40) Additional Resources Learn more about: Youtube Lead Machine Capitalist Pig NFT Buy Your First NFT --- Download Season 1 episodes here -- Sales Funnels Radio is a podcast for all passionate digital marketing pros looking to up their game and stay ahead.Advertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brands
Ep 99Removing Your Self-Worth From The Outcome Of Your Offer
This lesson was a tough one for me, but by the time I started getting offers that worked, I had practiced flexing the muscle of how to get back up after an offer fails so many times that it finally got "easy." If an offer sucks when you launch it, the biggest detriment to your success is the amount of TIME you take to "get back up." The mistake people make when designing an offer is not leaving room that your offer may fail flat on its face. We all want our offers to work, but it's healthy to acknowledge the possibility that it might not. If it fails, that is okay, but your identity cannot be tied to the outcome of your offer. There's a reason why the most successful entrepreneurs have a lot of failures under their belt. One of the major reasons why I am where I am today is because I have done a good job of removing my self-worth from the outcomes of my project attempts. I want all my projects to succeed, but I don't care if they don't. Lemme explain more in this episode. Key Takeaways - The business works on you as much as you work on it (01:02) - Do you design a process, or do you discover a process (07:36) - The fastest, cleanest distance to an epiphany (10:50) - How to get more confidence in your swing (12:33) - Why it's healthy to acknowledge your offer might fail (13:03) - Design with room to discover (14:40) - You'll discover more while executing than while designing (22:02) - When you sacrifice freedom for security, you lose both (26:36) Additional Resources Learn more about: Youtube Lead Machine Capitalist Pig NFT Buy Your First NFT --- Download Season 1 episodes here -- Sales Funnels Radio is a podcast for all passionate digital marketing pros looking to up their game and stay ahead.Advertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brands
