This week Jenn is talking about Green Coffee, an ingredient often confused with coffee or green tea, but they are not the same. Fundamentally green coffee and coffee both originate from the coffee fruit, but their chemical profiles are different. The biggest difference being the amount of chlorogenic acids, compounds with potent antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects that provide a range of health benefits. When we look at green coffee or the green coffee bean extract, we hear claims that it might affect blood vessels and therefore reduce blood pressure.
