Show Notes

Modern Medicine is always your best option to save your life in a crisis. If you need hospitalization, have an acute infection and need antibiotics, have a major injury or other condition that requires surgery, modern medicine could save your life.

But it also fails to help far too many people. People who have been to a dozen doctors or more and been told there's nothing wrong with them, and yet they're still suffering. Modern medicine does a very poor job of preventing and reversing chronic conditions like diabetes, irritable bowel syndrome, hypothyroidism, sub-clinical anemia, and many other conditions involving nutrient deficiencies that impair your body's ability to heal itself.

Functional medicine means using standard diagnostic tests to identify earlier signs of stress on your body so that you can heal yourself, so that you can reverse disease and not become dependent on pharmaceuticals or rather invasive medical treatments for the rest of your life.
