Opposition intensifies as the apostles are arrested and threatened—but God’s mission moves forward. In this passage, we see a Church that refuses to obey man rather than God. Empowered by the Spirit, the apostles rejoice even in suffering, confident that Christ is worth any cost. This text calls us to bold obedience rooted in joy, not fear.
