The freedom we have in Jesus is best realized, not in the service of self, but in the service of others. Preferring others over ourselves gives us the freedom to say "no" to certain liberties for the sake of the righteousness of our brother. No matter what we do in our freedom, it is still commanded to be done in love for God and neighbor.
