The Spirit produces deep unity and radical generosity among God’s people—but also calls His Church to holiness. This passage contrasts sincere faith with deadly deception, showing us that God’s grace cannot be treated casually. The same Spirit who unites and blesses also exposes hypocrisy. Here, we are reminded that the Church is not merely a community of shared values, but a holy people living before a holy God.
