Rochester Americans assistant coach Michael Peca joined Brian Duff and Marty Biron on this week’s The Instigators Overtime podcast. Peca shared his biggest takeaways from the end of the Amerks season, discussed the growth of forwards JJ Peterka (3:40) & Jack Quinn (10:20) and their relationship with one another. The former Sabres captain/Selke Trophy winner talked about working with Peyton Krebs and the math & science that goes into winning faceoffs. He also shared what he’s seen from Dylan Cozens (25:30), Rasmus Asplund (26:45) and how Arttu Ruotsalainen can take his game to the next level (28:15). Peca shared the biggest hit he ever delivered, his thoughts on more Amerks players who may help the Sabres and where he sees his own future in hockey. The guys wrapped up the conversation with three shoutouts to Amerks players who were a part of the team’s success.
