This is the fourth episode of the Runner’s World podcast, full of inspiring interviews and actionable advice from the wide world of running. In this episode Rick Pearson and Kerry McCarthy talk marathon achievements, and remember the great Bruce Tulloh - a pioneer of barefoot running and the original coaching editor of RW. Kerry recalls meeting Bruce; Rick wonders whether barefoot running is due a reappraisal. We talk to comedian and RW columnist Paul Tonkinson about marathon running, annoying runners and the brilliant conversations along the way. We also talk to Rob Pope, who has just completed the 'Forest Gump Run' across the US, clocking up more than 15,000 miles. Our final interview is with BBC broadcaster Sophie Raworth, who has just completed Marathon des Sables, often referred to as the 'world's toughest' footrace.
