The Royals played against the Cleveland Guardians on June 1, losing 0-4. The Cleveland pitching staff altogether struck out 15 Royals hitters. Right-handed pitching prospect Yohanse Morel was traded to the Texas Rangers for RHP Albert Abreu, who was added to the 40-man roster. A corresponding move has not been announced yet. The Royals had an off day on Thursday and are now 16-33 on the season so far.

As I type this description, having the episode already completed and ready to go, I realize I could have done something goofy like make this episode into a Survivor parody or something. Because what I'm doing here is evaluating the Royals' front office and management, looking at five guys individually and deciding whether or not they need to leave. Because SOMETHING has to change in that way, or else the Royals might be a last-place team forever.
