On the second deadline day of the summer, the Blues kept hold of Ademola Lookman whilst sending Matty Pennington to Ipswich Town on loan to complete a remarkable summer ins and outs.
Across the senior squad and under-23s, Everton sold, loaned or released over 20 players and signed just seven as Marcel Brands delivered on his promise to cut the playing staff down.
And so after a hectic summer, Phil Kirkbride asks Gavin Buckland and Tony Scott to name their best bit of business - it could be an in, an out or involve someone staying put.
