The man behind the curtain, Dr. Jeff Hand serves as the senior leader within the Division of Student Affairs. He leads the departments/programs and strategies handling the overall lifecycle - from the student's first point of contact with Rowan, through graduation. Rowan is the 6th fastest-growing research institution in the nation and is recognized as one of the top 90 public research universities.

Passionate about leading and training nurses, Dr. McDonald recently created a nurse executive specialization within a master's degree at Rowan to help train tomorrow's educators and leaders. Dr. McDonald has served as a nurse for almost 40 years and has been an adjunct at Rowan University for 10 years and is also a nationally certified in advanced holistic nurse and is a nurse executive.

Natalie Foxhill discusses the impact and the opportunities offered by the Jean & Ric Edelman Fossil Park. Located in Mantua, NJ, a short 10-minute drive from the campus of Rowan University, located in Glassboro, NJ, scientists, students and community members dig for, and study, fossils found at the site - which include, among others, marine snails, brachiopods, bryozoan colonies, shark teeth, boney fish, sea turtles, marine crocodiles and mosasaurs.

Campus recreation impacts the health and wellbeing, both physical and emotional, of students and staff. Kevin discusses the important role of campus recreation on a college campus.

An anthropologist interested in bioarchaeology of Native South Americans, paleopathology and forensic anthropology, Dr. Rosado brought the anthropology program to life at Rowan University.

Enjoying both research and teaching, Dr. Hunt has practiced music therapy since 1997. As director of the newly created music therapy at Rowan, she immerses herself in bringing best practices to her students, so that they will build careers in this growing field.

Dr. Howell researches humans' responses to environmental problems and, in particular, understanding how and why we deal with our garbage the way we do. His work has been supported by the National Science Foundation, the National Endowment for the Humanities, and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.

Throughout her career, Dr. Shealey has examined the experiences of traditionally marginalized group and enacted change to promote social justice and equity. In her new role as senior vice president of the newly created Division of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, Dr. Shealey leads the helm, impacting individuals across the university as well as the university itself.

Mr. Lukach joins us from AKCG - Public Relations Counselors, a long-standing agency which recently relocated to the heart of Glassboro, NJ on Rowan Boulevard. As a Rowan graduate, a recently named distinguished alumnus and local business owner, Mr. Lukach discusses with us public relations and his ever-changing relationship with the university.

Ms. Vogt is a part of Rowan University's robust Exploratory Studies Program, for undeclared majors. This structured program connects students with campus-wide resources including supportive academic advising and workshops about student success, specific majors and careers.

Beginning in his undergraduate years, Dr. Krummenacher started studying viruses and he's never stopped. Today he works with the herpes simplex virus in his lab, with Rowan undergraduate students, studying how the virus interacts with human cells.

Professor Conradi discusses her passion, her process and graphic design. Her career focuses on design education, typography, and design history. She has published two books, numerous articles and has served as a guest lecturer and critic at other institutions.

Stephanie Russo, a 2014 graduate of Rowan University and now manager of client strategy at Twitch and co-founder of Women in Gaming NYC, discusses e-sports and the future of communications in multi-player entities.

Dr. Gougon specializes in women in politics, feminist theory, reproductive politics and interest groups. Her research focuses on feminist organizations’ responses to new challenges in reproductive politics in a contemporary US setting.

Dr. Johnson is an educational comparativist, with a focus on sub-Saharan Africa, who has conducted research in Ghana, Côte d'Ivoire, South Africa, Togo, and Kenya. She is currently working on a funded project investigating how university employees' indigenous knowledge impacts sustainable development in Africa. The majority of her work has focused on rebuilding universities in post-conflict countries and how universities contribute to the peacebuilding process during conflict.
