Tony Hofmann is an endurance athlete, West Point graduate, qualified Army Ranger, retired Colonel and founder of Team Leadville. After retiring from the Army, Col. Hofmann ran the Leadville 100 ultramarathon three times, experiences he wrote about in the book Embracing Grit: How a Flatland Veteran Conquered the Leadville 100 Ultramarathon.
Hofmann is the Director of Public Works for the City of Overland Park, KS. He's run the Boston Marathon 13 times.
