We continue our story of The Ghost of Sparta! Kratos makes his way north & stumbles upon a whole other pantheon, & you best believe we're going to discuss it! After the release of the first game it took 4 long years for us to be able to finish the Norse Saga here on the show. As everyone who listened to the first God Of War episode we did, you know this is one of my favorite games/stories of all time. Hope you enjoy!

This week we inadvertently come back with Pappy to discuss more of Rings Of Power & a little bit of House of the Dragon. More of Tolkein's world lore comes in to play as we help Pappy understand the world a little better. Despite what anyone has to say now that the shows have been out for some time, we absolutely loved them!!!

This episode we sit down & discuss our thrills over being spoiled with two fantasy shows that aired at the same time... House of the Dragon & Rings of Power. The two overly popular franchises go head to head as they release weekly episodes back to back on top of each other. Tolkien's Middle Earth is redefined as RoP explores the Second Age, while HoD delves deeper into the Targaryen dynasty's past. As a few lovers of both of these 'universes' we could barely contain our excitement to speak on these shows a little bit here at RTT.... Inadvertently even moving some of our focus to another favorite of ours, Dr. Who. Hope you all enjoy!!

This Episode is all about Old Abe... Not the President, but the War Eagle that served with the Eighth Wisconsin Volunteer Infantry Regiment, & was present for over 30 Battles!!! Abe outlived many soldiers of the War despite exhaustive attempts.

This episode Seth details the life of the Lich King himself: Arthas Menethil. From fabled hero of the human factions to the tragic downfall of his kinslaying. This was a great story as I (Budd) have never personally played any World of Warcraft. I was unaware of any of the deep lore that is in these games. Hope you all enjoy!

Boy, is this a fun one... We go off on a couple of tangents including a little travel through one of our Discord Servers, asking Logan questions related to fecal matter, Reincarnation, & how one woman's attempt at Divine Intervention does not go to plan...

Two MLB Legends, Two Controversial Characters... One was a no-brainer for Cooperstown while the other can't seem to get any recognition for his accomplishments. In this episode we discuss the two fabled careers & the acknowledge the power of perception!

Brian finds a strong contender to Middleswarth Chips, Mike has an interesting family affair, & Government officials reserve their rights to shoot... wait a second, no that can't be right... oh, oh my goodness... Well, you can just have a listen to find out for yourselves!

We have the full crew back in the Room this week where we learn how Logan is part of the 1%, Elephants Rampage as does an extremely odd koala bear named Gumnut, & we believe we have another Dogman sighting!

As a thank you to everyone who has been with us for the first 50 episodes, we decided we would give everyone a bonus episode this week for everyone! We're going to do things different for this one, as Pappy proposed a great idea. We try & rate a certain meal from each of our local fast food chains, & see which one presents the best Chicken Sandwich! We hope you enjoy!

All I can say is WOW! Here we are finally on episode 50!!! Thank you guys so much for starting this journey with us & continuing to support! We appreciate everyone & hope we can continue to bring you more content. What better way to kick off 50 episodes than to see what the good ole US of A's Government has to say about the years upon years of documented cases of what are now known as UAP's (Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon) - previously referred to as UFO's. Mike watched the entire hearing & goes over some of the documents, videos, & testimonies from eye witnesses.

Finally we are ready to wrap up things in Birmingham... for now! On the third installment in our Peaky Blinders segment we will discuss seasons 4-6 which will conclude things as we know it for the Netflix series. Now there is confirmation that instead of the originally planned 7th season, there will be a cinematic movie shot in the near future. So it does seem like we will have another addition to this chapter, but when we cannot say quite yet. However, for now we're headed to the halls of West Minster as Tommy faces his most dangerous opponents yet!

Welcome back, everyone to Small Heath, Birmingham - 1919... The boys are back from the war, or are they? This week we start the spoilers! Covering Seasons 1-3 we will go over the rise of the Shelby Company Ltd. From a cut throat, backstreet, Razor gang, to the top dogs in London. What will Tommy, Arthur, John, & Aunt Polly get themselves into?

I have been very excited for our next releases... Now that the series has been finished in the UK (and also finally aired in America as well..) we find ourselves heading across the pond & back in time. All the way back to World War 1 where we will meet the infamous Peaky Blinders! A wonderful fictional tale created by Steven Knight, today's episode will go over who the Peaky Blinders are (including their real life influences) and what exactly they do. I will be the first to mention that if you have not seen this series at all, we highly recommend adding it to your 'Must Watch' List. We hope you enjoy, & be ready for Part 2 releasing soon!

This week's topic was brought about by a recent discovery... Or a re-discovery if you will. Over 100 years ago the race to cross the Antarctic saw one of the most intense, & incredible tales or survival there is. Sir Ernest Shackleton along with his crew of over 20 men became stranded as their ship, The Endurance, was halted by immense sheets of ice. What transpired next is the stuff of nightmares! Fast-Forward ~100 years & recent deep dives in the area have re-discovered Shackleton's lost ship: The Endurance partly preserved below the ice!

Pappy returns!! And he brings the Snallygaster with him... This week, we take a dive back into our Cryptid chapter as mike has another list of interesting folklore creatures for us to learn about. This week we had a special surprise as we got word that Brian was back home! He came by during our recording was able to finish with us!

As we had our Cryptid episode a few weeks ago, we are keeping right along the same path, but this week we cover a singular supposed cryptid: Spring-Heeled Jack, Terror of London. Back in the 1830's Jack made his first appearance & boy did it get weird after that! A mythological creature, or a man (or series of men)playing a sinister role. Take a listen & you decide!

We're back w/ another ShootTheShit episode. We briefly talk about the new Marvel Movie: Eternals, along with some other Marvel comics characters. Mike tells us about Amazon's new breakthrough series based on Robert Jordan's epic fantasy books: The Wheel Of Time. Egypt experiences Scorpion Storms, & a story of how Mike's family had the most savage cats of all time!

This week Mike wanted to give us a run down on a few lesser known Cryptids from around the US. Some of these I have never heard of, and they range from small & harmless to very large with the strong possibility of gaining air superiority (just in case you were planning an escape...) Seth & Mike also enlighten me to the 'Birds Aren't Real' community... which, just wow!

We have a first on this week's episode, and it is that Pappy will be discussing his point of view one of Netflix's more recent success: Squid Game. Both Mike and Brian have delved into this series & they both sit down to explain the plot to Grandma & I. Remember folks, this is a podcast based around spoilers, so we will be covering the entirety of the series, beginning to end... You've been warned!

Back to what started it all for us. Long before Jon Snow, Daenerys, or their parents, or even their parents... There came Aegon The Conqueror. The man that molded the Seven Kingdoms into one, somewhat united continent on the back of his legendary Dragon: Balerion the Black Dread! I know when GoT first came out, WOFAI for the books enthusiasts, one of my first interests was the story of how Aegon conquered Westeros 300 years prior to the events of the HBO Series... With his new book: 'Fire & Blood' - George R.R. Martin gives us just that!

Pappy returns once again with some great stories from him working out of state. Mike's news stories are not for the faint heart this week, as fatalities are a common theme, & everyone is as shocked as me when I inform them I have heard Barack Obama has indeed killed... RockNRoll. It's a sad episode indeed, but nevertheless we hope you enjoy, kids!

This week's episode is intriguing to say the least... it could also not be the last time we touch on this particular topic. The Internet Phenomenon that is Cicada 3301 honestly arouses more questions than answers them as the story unfolds. Seth goes in depth to explain the history of this interesting online mystery. This week I have to admit I enjoyed a little too much! You'll have to listen to hear where the Wallaby comes in... But after all that Mike & I go into the least comprehensive version of events that occur in one of our favorite shows: Dragonball-Z Super. Kenneth Arnold... who is he, & why is he important? Well, Kenneth Arnold happens to be considered the first documented case of an apparent UFO Sighting. During a private flight, Arnold witnessed nine, shiny, unidentified flying objects as he flew past Mt. Rainier... When his story came out, no one knew the impact it would have on us even to this day.

We have a casual ShootTheShit episode for you this time around as we welcome Pappy back from his work trip to Illinois! Mike smokes too much & Pappy expresses his likes and dislikes of Legal Marijuana States... As always it's pretty random around here, but Mike also has some funny news articles for us as always. We have a very unorthodox episode for you guys this week. We sit down while Mike & Seth accidentally spend the duration of our time explaining different types of 4X Games to me... (Europa4, CrusaderKings3, & Civ6 to name a few.)Which since this was recorded, I have become owner of all 3 games... and still have no idea what I'm doing, lol! Nevertheless they are wonderful games to add to your collection, so hopefully we don't deter anyone!

This week we have a different format to the show, & we are excited to finally have our first interview guest... Bob McHenry! Bob is the Lead Minister at the Spirited Manner Polytheistic Temple. Bob comes to The Room to speak to us about exactly what it is he and his congregation are & what they do. Being one of the only (if not THE only)Polytheistic Temples in the state of Pennsylvania, Bob & his congregation are on a mission to teach Tolerance, Peace, & Equality to a community willing to learn & be apart of many religious practices, activities, & lessons from all over. Back again with another gripping tale about the 'Little-Guy' fighting back against 'The Man!' On this week's episode we are covering The Battle Of Athens... Tennessee. Another lesser known revolt that took place in the 1940's when GI's, returning from the World War 2, took up arms against local oppressive politicians in a fight to take back their freedoms!

On this episode, we dive into the lore of what is known as The Dogman. Similar in appearance to Werewolves, however the Dogman is an entity all to itself. Stories of reported sightings go back years, but no one can verify if these "creatures" are bigger forms of their wolf relatives (if they are related at all) or possibly something else... Mike shares the history behind the mysterious Cryptid along with eye-witness accounts.

The carnage has just begun as we are back top wrap up Kratos: The Ghost of Sparta! This has been a long & tragic tale for our "anti-hero" protagonist. But if anyone is going to teach you the lesson of "hard work always pays off" it's going to be Kratos... The guy just doesn't take No for an answer! Either way we are finishing up the end of Kratos's time in the Greek World... What do you think will become of him?

And we're back with another research topic, & this week we're starting a two-part analysis of the life & "accomplishments" of the most feared among all of the Gods... The Ghost of Sparta: Kratos! For anyone who is a fan of the games, I decided to cover Kratos's story in chronological order instead of following the order in which the games were released. In this first part, we will follow Kratos from when he was a boy growing up as a Spartan warrior, to his "deal with the devil." We hope you enjoy!

We had a load of fun learning about Grimgor Ironhide & his hordes of Orcs, so now we're taking a second look... Deep into the jungles of Lustria, to great temple cities where the Lizardmen spawn & serve the will of their lost creators. We literally have lizards on lizards in this one... so strap in, roll up, & enjoy kids!
