Back in early 2020 when Congress rushed to pass trillions in "emergency" COVID spending, US Rep. Thomas Massie warned that it would be the biggest wealth transfer from the middle class to the elites in history. As DOGE is finding out, Massie was absolutely right. Trillions spent to the benefit of the political classes and crumbs dropping from the table to the middle and working classes.
