Ed Pardi and his wife Shirley Diamond started RVing four years ago when Ed was 79!! Ed started his very successful career in the car industry in his early 20's, then moved up to selling airplanes. Eventually he started his own company selling high end airplanes and jets. Yes, he piloted all of them. He flew all over the world and flew over everything from place to place. After Ed retired, he decided to travel in an RV to see all the places on the ground he missed. Listen as Ed describes what he chose to buy and how he did it. His stories about being on the road are very informative too. Learn how to avoid the two “H’s” in RVing. Ed proves that you’re never too old for a new adventure.
Patti and I are traveling to the southwest via Interstate Highway 40. Most of the western part of I-40 either parallels or overlays the Historic Route 66. Tucumcari, New Mexico, is part of that era and we stopped there for a night! It was a pleasure meeting this fascinating couple!
