On Wednesday, September 28, 2022, Hurricane Ian hit Florida. Listen as we interview our friend Tim Apel. He describes what happened to his home in Fort Myers. Many of you will remember him from our podcast, Episode 38.
Tim also explains how they are coping with the chaotic aftermath. It’s the second largest disaster loss, with at least $60 billion in private insured losses, not to mention the human toll it has taken. Hurricane Ian was a category 4 hurricane with winds of 150 mph and a storm surge of 7 to at least 12 feet that caused tremendous damage.
