You’ll be surprised by the answers as Jeff & Patti interview Jim Emmert. For 27 years, Jim and his wife Alice owned the Homerville, Ohio KOA located just south of Akron and Cleveland. The park was formerly known as the Wild Wood Lakes campground before the Emmert’s bought it in 1994. What started off as an interview about owning a campground turns into an amazing story about 79-year-old Jim Emmert. Born with deaf parents in the Appalachian Mountains, Jim with only a third grade education, and against all odds became a successful business owner.
