KU's Assistant Athletics Director Greg Gurley joins Mitch Lightfoot and Chris Teahan on today's new episode of Rock Chalk Unplugged. Greg Gurley reflects back on his playing days at KU and gives an update on the inner workings of NIL at Kansas. Greg talks about what it took to get McCarthy Hall built and the impact it has on recruiting. Greg also sheds some light on how NIL is impacting recruiting, fundraising, the transfer portal and the Jayhawks' play on the court.
Greg Gurley joined the Williams Education Fund in 2011 as the Director of Development and has since been elevated to the position of Assistant Athletics Director, Major Gifts. In addition to his work with the Williams Fund, he serves as the color commentator for the Kansas men’s basketball program on the Jayhawk Radio Network.
