At the UFC Performance Institute, he will cycle between the hot jacuzzi and cold tub. 31:09- UFC fighters are subject to random drug testing. 32:00- “I don’t like Chael Sonnen.” (Moreno) 34:50- After the first fight with Figueiredo, Moreno decided to use stem cell therapy to alleviate a shoulder injury. 37:13- Moreno wants to be a well rounded martial artist and doesn’t have a favorite style of fighting. 40:08- Dealing with drama is uncomfortable for Moreno, he would rather focus on training and his family. 42:42- The biggest goal for Moreno is getting the belt back at one hundred twenty five pounds. 45:15- Moreno believes that social media is being obnoxious to Khabib Nurmagomedov because they continue to ask when he will return to the octagon. 48:17- Having confidence in your speaking abilities is important to expand your skill set.

He moved to New York in 2014. 8:58- “No one has ever succeeded in it that has stopped.” (Tyrrell) 10:27- Performing stand up was one of those things Patton knew he had to try. 13:00- Patton unfortunately didn’t mesh well with the local comedians because of their poor attitudes. 15:00- The success of his YouTube channel and podcast has allowed Tyrrell the ability to not rely on making money performing on stage. 17:45- One of the reasons Tyrrell chose to pursue comedy is because it didn’t feel like work due to how much he enjoyed it. 20:40- Tyrrell references how Bill Burr uses jokes from former podcasts to add into his new specials. 22:31- Patton and Tyrrell are both big fans of Adam Sandler. 25:30- Tyrrell was “boozing hard” during the pandemic. 29:10- Cancel culture is real but doesn’t seem to be long lasting. 31:06- Patton once drove a motorcycle on the sidewalk and almost got pulled over, but eventually the cop found where he lived and got him in trouble. 34:50- In jail, Patton was robbed of his Tang drink mix powder. 38:23- Tyrrell has experimented with many different drugs, including DMT. 41:30- Patton and Tyrrell are both familiar with Psilocybin mushrooms. 45:00- If you don’t experience anything profound or transformational during the ceremony, at least have fun and stay positive. 46:25- “Luis J. By the time he was in college, Lansang was fully passionate about health and fitness, and his father’s last wish was to have him share those gifts with the world. 5:51- For college, Lansang relocated to Michigan where he would met his wife who was working on a start up nail salon business. His wife and her family relocated to San Antonio, Texas to pursue new business ventures and she gave him a call to also inform him she was a few months pregnant with their first child. This brought him out to San Antonio, Texas to help support his new family and build a legacy for himself. 7:27- Lansang’s wife is Vietnamese and practicing the Chinese New Year is a big tradition. 8:45- It is common in the nail salon business to have tight slumped over shoulders. Nearly everyday, he starts with a 5:00 AM workout. 1:53- Cardio, kickboxing and weights are staples in his training program. 3:18- Even after catching and overcoming COVID-19, Palomino still feels that he is not fully recovered. 5:54- “You gotta invest in yourself man, cause nobody else do.” (Palomino) 9:00- Eating according to your blood type helps determine the best use of your acids for digesting food. 11:32- Palomino has gotten used to training fasted and will usually wait until 2:00 PM to eat his first meal. 13:26- Patton has five dogs that are all different and Palomino has four, all being American Bully breed. 17:30- Dogs are great companions and help us balance our emotions. After Palomino got depressed because of a knee injury after a fight in Russia, he decided to buy two female American Bully puppies to help him feel better during recovery. 21:00- Between the ages of eleven and fourteen, Palomino practiced boxing in California. 24:25- After being jumped by two guys while riding his bike to the boxing gym before practice, Palomino beat both of them up once he gained his bearings. 27:50- Palomino’s nickname is “Baboon.” 33:35- Fighting with gloves is meant to protect the fighters hands, not soften the blow. 35:35- Getting hit makes Palomino angry and fuels him to takedown his opponent. 39:30- Palomino noticed significant energy depletion after getting back from the hospital after he was cleared of COVID-19. 46:25- One of Palomino’s friends that competes in triathlons for fun, took three months to fully recover from the virus. 48:30- Recovery is the most important aspect for training and preparing for a fight. 53:00- Palomino would love to fight Mike Perry in the BKFC. 58:00- During his first day at the hospital, the doctor misdiagnosed Palomino and said he didn’t have COVID-19.

He grew up playing baseball and began fighting at the age of fourteen. He earned his pro card at seventeen after going 10-0 as an amateur. 4:45- For fun, Knight enjoys hunting, fishing and riding ATVs. 7:24- “I was a hot headed kid with a big temper.” (Knight) 8:45- After his mother signed a permission slip allowing him to fight, Knight fell in love with the game and began fighting more frequently. 10:30- You can teach people many different things, but you can’t teach someone how to not give up. They have to possess the heart and drive to finish. 15:25- The excessive spending on others would cause Knight to get low on money, often running out before his next fight was scheduled. 19:26- Knight feels more focused than ever and knows he will show everyone he is back and at his best. 21:54- Patton and Knight both have had to cover up tattoos they no longer wanted. 23:53- At age seventeen, Knight caught a robbery charge while taking Xanax and hanging around the wrong crowd. 26:35- Taking LSD brought Knight closer to God. 29:44- Knight is training with American Top Team led by coach Dan Lambert in Coconut Creek, Florida to prepare for his August 27th fight. 34:52- The worst part about bare knuckle boxing for Knight was hurting his hands. 37:51- Patton recommends reading Think & Grow Rich and Success Through a Positive Mental Attitude by Napoleon Hill. 40:05- Having his first kid at nineteen, Knight knows what it means to sacrifice to be able to provide for his family. 43:18- “I feel like I’m unstoppable right now.” (Knight) 45:29- Having more heart in the game outweighs an opponents similar skill set. 49:12- Knight has three kids: a five, six and nine year old. 52:09- “I either go out there and get better, or get run over.” (Knight) 53:28- Knight takes protein, super greens, a multi vitamin and BCAA’s daily to stay optimal. 55:25- One month out from a fight, Knight will cut out fast food and sweets and will home cook all his meals. 59:08- Once Patton learned about conspiracy theories regarding the United States Army and big oil, he became disillusioned. 1:03:05- Knight believes if you’re outdoors working or training, you should be wearing SHEATH.

Later he experimented with Cocaine which ended up leaving him homeless and working a crappy job. 23:58- After ending up in the hospital from a three day Cocaine bing, Torres decided to had to quit this terrible habit that had been with him for over six months. 26:15- Torres will drink Kava from time to time to relax but cannot stand the taste. 30:30- Sometimes Torres and Patton will use cannabis that is high in CBD and low in THC. 32:12- After serving fourth months in a Georgia detention center, Patton decided to clean up his act and cut the bad drugs out. 34:54- “Tell me who you’re with and I’ll tell you who you are.” (Old Cuban saying) 37:30- Whenever Torres was a beer seller, he found himself having nearly eight drinks by the end of the day. You don’t have to compete with others, you just want to get better everyday. 6:40- Samadhi has been sending Patton custom workouts that include more sets and supersets to increase intensity and hypertrophy. 7:35- After thinking he was ready over a year ago, Samadhi finally set his goal of competing in his first Men’s Physique show August 21st in Austin, Texas. Austin “Beezy” Burge is his prep coach. 8:55- Patton incorporates Wim Hof breathing method into his weight lifting workouts to stay energized and focused. 11:00- Samadhi recently took a mobility course with Sammy Sandoval who is certified steel mace, kettlebell and mobility through the Onnit Academy, he coaches at Your Fitness 365 and the Submission Concepts gym in San Antonio, Texas. 17:04- Patton uses the Pso-Rite to keep his abdominals and hip complex from becoming too tight. 19:39- Samadhi has been working with Sheath full time since May 2020, his roles include creative directing, customer service and sales. 22:52- Before taking fitness more seriously, Samadhi used to only do three sets of eight reps for each exercise, just barely maintaining muscle. 23:48- The start of his pull day workout consists of six sets of pull ups to failure. 24:35- “If you are not eating enough, you are just literally not going to gain the muscle.” (Samadhi) 27:25- Patton uses an Arc elliptical machine for 20-30 minutes to hit his cardio goals. 29:00- The current cardio prep for Samadhi is incline walking on the treadmill for 20 minutes, five days a week. 32:20- Heart rate variability is something Patton tracks to make sure his performance level is maintained during exercise. 35:38- “Own your life, don’t be miserable.” (Samadhi) 40:31- One of the most fun skits Sheath has done was when Samadhi chopped a jackfruit in half with a samurai sword. 45:00- Playing chess can be a great way to workout your brain and ease trauma. 53:30- Whenever you order produce, it is important to be mindful of the expiration date. 53:11- After being vegan for two years, Samadhi introduced meat back into his diet and noticed more energy and strength gains. The vegan diet has many benefits but didn’t allow him to put on more muscle. 57:30- Samadhi breaks down his new diet where he eating earlier in the day and more often to be in a calorie surplus. 1:01:20- L-Theanine is an amino acid that Samadhi and Patton use to stay optimal and avoid brain fog.

Meligan started blade smith work in 2017. 6:35- After receiving a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing, Meligan led a 26 bed ICU CVI open heart unit for twelve years. 9:07- Meligan is forging a sword and Bowie knife out of meteorite. 10:34- There are multiple burns and scars on Meligan because of the dangerous process of forging. 14:35- Even with just 1.5 years of experience, Meligan was able to out compete others with 30+ years. 16:02- Patton & Meligan both love a good cup of black coffee. 19:42- “The thing is man, we’re only here, we get one shot at this life, don’t piss it away. Don’t waste it. If it’s a book, make it a book worth reading.” (Meligan) 24:45- There is enough room for us all to be successful and eat together. 27:07- It has been just over two years since Melgian has been working full time. Eventually he would like to have his own production of knives on the market. 31:20- Meligan thinks that Colorado is scary even though he has wrestled Alligators and Water Moccasins in Florida. 35:10- You only stay at the top of the mountain for a minute, the journey is the best part. 38:00- Pensacola beach is one of the best in Florida. 39:47- “If you make your home like paradise, you feel like you don’t need to vacation.” (Meligan) 41:40- Meligan and his wife have one son, a German Shepherd and a mutt. 46:41- You have to take risks so that you don’t hold yourself back and have regrets when you’re old. 51:21- High intensity weight training five days a week for an hour to an hour and a half is how Meligan stays fit. 54:17- Being happy with yourself is more important than having a bunch of money. 57:10- There is always someone who had it harder than you, but still makes a successful life.
