The Tower Hamlet's Canoeing Club is encouraging more people with sight loss to take up canoeing.
They have dedicated training courses and are also training volunteer guides to open up the leisure activity to more people.
RNIB Connect Radio's Allan Russell spoke to Alex Smith, from the club, and blind canoeist Richard Simpson to learn more about the sport and how they hope other clubs will follow in their wake.
