S2 Ep1256: Viruses, What Are They and How Best to Treat Them…

For this week’s check-in with Glasgow based Pharmacist Elizabeth Roddick we are focusing on viruses as there seems to be quite a lot going around at the moment.

Elizabeth began by explaining to RNIB Connect Radio’s Toby Davey what the difference is between a virus and a bacterial infection. Then to what we should do if we think we have a virus and whether it is a good idea to take over the counter medicines for a virus. 

Finally Toby asked Elizabeth whether there is a virus out there that could be, say, more deadly than Covid?
