Katie, a former nurse, became addicted to opiates after being prescribed Percocet following surgery. Her addiction led to stealing liquid Fentanyl from work and using it intravenously. In 2022, she faced federal charges and hit rock bottom.
Now, two years clean, Katie has turned her life around. She’s reestablished her connection with God and speaks at facilities to warn others about addiction and educate nurses on the severity of her actions. She’s a loving mother, devoted wife, and a powerful example of redemption and faith.
