Show Notes

This week, we’re diving into the legendary life of Tina Turner, a true force of nature. Born in Tennessee to a family of sharecroppers, Tina grew up with big dreams of performing. Her fateful meeting with Ike Turner changed her life forever, launching her into stardom but also into a turbulent and abusive relationship. Despite it all, Tina’s unmatched talent and magnetic stage presence captivated the world. And in one of the greatest comebacks of all time, she started over at 40, reinventing herself as a solo artist and becoming bigger than ever. From selling out stadiums to being inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame not once but twice, Tina Turner’s story is one of resilience and power. We love you Tina!
