SPOTLIGHT MONDAY: Father's Day Connections
In honor of Father's Day we wanted to revisit our Father's Day episode released on June 21, 2023, called “Connecting as a FR Dad”, Episode 33. On this episode, Joe, a retired law enforcement officer shared what he learned as a first responder Dad over his 25+ year career. He explained how he stayed connected to his children during his career, the lessons learned, and the challenges he faced as his children grew older. Joe provided some insightful information that he hoped would help others be more intentional with finding ways to be present with their children while working in this public safety career.
