Each year, WalletHub conducts a research study and ranks the best and worst places to start a business. In 2024, Pennsylvania dropped a spot and comes in at 43rd -- the 8th worst state in the country. WalletHub looks at 25 key indicators of startup success. Cassandra Happe, an analyst for the company, was a guest on The Rick Dayton Show and says there are several reasons why Pennsylvania has not fared well in this research.
