Show Notes
Allegheny County Deputy Sheriff Jason Tarap was not at work last week. He was working with 43 kids who are 12 to 14 years old at Camp Cadet. In the past 18 years, nearly a thousand young people have graduated from Allegheny County Camp Cadet. It puts the kids through a week-long camp that mirrors what police officers go through at the Police Academy. Tarap was a guest on the Rick Dayton Show Monday to talk about how the kids change in seven days away from home -- and how they adjust to not having any electronics for the entire week.
