According to the Small Business Administration, people of color represent just 20 percent of the nation's 5.6 million business owners with employees. Many times, these businesses are under-funded which creates a significant barrier as their company tries to grow. Jackie Taylor has written a book called "Give Me a Boost!" that helps entrepreneurs learn how to expand their businesses -- and how to get the funding from non-traditional sources.
