Show Notes
When Sharon Jones-Scaife's husband died of lung cancer seven years ago, she looked for some books to help her young grandchildren deal with the grief. She couldn't find any. So she decided to write something herself. Years later, she has written eight different children's books -- all with African American children as the leading characters. The Dallas, Texas based Jones-Scaife was a guest on the Rick Dayton Show to talk about her books and how they help kids.
