The Pittsburgh Ukraine Relief Coalition was founded in March 2022. Since then, they have raised more than $100,000 to provide assistance in Ukraine. Now they are working on a fundraising campaign to purchase a playground for special needs children in the western Ukrainian city of Buchach. The town has provided the land and will install and maintain the equipment. Matt Blackburn is the president of the Pittsburgh Ukranian Relief Coalition, and Tetiana Borysenko is a Ukrainian attorney who is doing graduate work at the University of Pittsburgh and is volunteering with PURC. They were guest on the Rick Dayton Show Tuesday afternoon.
