Show Notes

Research released this month at the International Stroke Conference in Phoenix suggests Black women who have high blood pressure before the age of 35 have triple the risk of a stroke.  Dr. Rahul Chandra was a guest on KDKA Radio with Rick Dayton talking about the study and why it matters. He points out that there are countless risk factors at play -- and all of them need to be considered by clinicians as they discuss stroke management and prevention with their patients.
