Investigators at the University of Virginia have discovered a gene that shapes risk for heart attacks and vascular disease. Dr. Cliff Miller, PhD is the principal investigator. He is in the UVA Center for Public Health Genomics and Departments of Biochemistry and Molecular Genetics and Public Health Services. He joined Rick Dayton to talk about the discovery and how this gene directs an entire network of genes in the body.
