As a psychoanalyst, he has grown increasingly convinced that Americans— especially those on the Progressive left—are succumbing to neuroticobsessional and quasi-delusional modes of thought.

GUEST: Dr. Richard Kradin is a physician at the Massachusetts General Hospital, a psychoanalyst with certification in both psychoanalysis and Jungian analysis and professor at Harvard Medical School. He holds graduate degrees in Chemical Physics and Religion. Dr. Kradin is the author of more than 200 articles in the scientific literature and six textbooks including the Herald Dream (Karnac), The Placebo Response (Routledge), Pathologies of the Mind-Body Interface (Routledge), and the Parting the Ways: Esoteric Judaism in the Psychologies of Freud and Jung (Academic Studies Press). He lectures in the U.S. and internationally. He maintains a private practice in psychoanalysis in Boston, MA. His latest book is titled Out of Control; Apocalyptic Psychology in the Age of Trump.
