Weddings are so expensive in this country, that people go into debt so as to trend on their special day. Some people squeeze funds out of people they haven't spoken to in years to have that celebration of the year. We forget that it is a celebration of love and there is a life after the ceremony. In this episode, Ellen shares with us how one can have a simple, memorable, and budget-friendly wedding.
One key thing is that they planned and saved for their ideal wedding, and friends and relatives contributed voluntarily. She shares tips on how to have this conversation with your parents and relatives about how you want the wedding to be. All we want to do is celebrate love without the financial burden and here is a real-life story of someone who did exactly that.
