They talk about knowing you are going to be a comedian from the age of 9, working alongside future stars in Asylum, the various techniques that Adam has devised to ensure your punchlines hit, how to get rolling laughs, avoiding virtual comedy and how stage time is vital to honing your instincts. But there’s stuff in this book that seasoned comics have not directly considered and rules are made to be broken. Plus the joy of self publishing and learning stuff even as he wrote the book and what it’s like to have read as many books as you’ve written.
